Hi! I am K V S Dileep.

My core interests are in Product, Data Science, Education and Strategy. I come from a decent middle class background rooted in spirituality from a young age.

I pursued B.Sc, M.Sc in Maths and M.Tech in Computer Science from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. Then I went on to pursue Ph.D in Computer Science from IIT Madras in the field of Natural Language Processing. 4 publications later, I was burnt out. I decided to take a break in 2018 to take up the role of Program Development Head at GreyAtom.

At GreyAtom, I took up end to end management of our course offerings - Data Science and Frontend Web Development, and worked with multiple departments (Tech, Growth and Sales) to help the learners succeed. As part of my journey, I set up multiple processes and brought in a lot of innovation to enable learner success at scale.

My core leadership principles:

• Empathy over Sympathy. (I understand and feel the emotions of my team and work hard to ensure their success.)
• Growth over Fixed Mindset. (Nothing is impossible. The more constraints I have, the better I can innovate.)
• Servant Leadership. (I serve my team, and not the other way round. It is my responsibility to create the right environment and get out of their way.)
• Strategy+Execution. (I don't just give ideas, I work closely to ensure success in execution like a player coach.)

I believe in a strong Personal OS. A set of principles and ideas that guide my life. This is not set in stone and will continuously evolve. But I made an attempt to jot down the first version of the ideas that resonated with me.
